Abstract:
The pandemic has had a serious impact on daily life and on certain sectors of the economy. The impact of the pandemic is revolutionary, as it fundamentally changes patterns. This effect was attributed by the author to post-COVID syndrome, as long-term symptoms persist. The article provides an assessment of changes and prospects for long-term changes in the education and health services sectors, based on an analysis of actual and projected earnings, facts and trends. These industries are the most relevant to this kind of research, having taken the brunt of restrictive measures. Their further development will be largely determined by changes in human behaviour and habits, driven by disease dynamics and mobility constraints, accelerated innovation and digital technologies.
