Abstract:
The article examines the features of the formation and development of US innovation policy. The US national innovation system and its key elements were analyzed. The position of the United States at the world level in terms of innovative activity indicators in comparison with other countries has been determined. It is concluded that the United States is facing growing competition from individual countries in the field of innovation. However, it does not indicate that the US is becoming weaker, but it means that other countries are becoming stronger.
