Abstract:
The paper presents an overview of economic crime as a threat to the economic security of the financial sector. In conclusion, the author comes to conclusion that the main measures to combat economic crime in the financial sector should be: organizational measures; technical measures; staffing measures; control and mandatory verification of connected storage media; preventive measures to prevent violations. Undoubtedly, these measures will not able fully protect the banking sector of the economy from criminogenic impact. However, their skillful use will create the prerequisites for ensuring the economic security of the credit and financial sector of the economy.
