Abstract:

The purpose of the study has been to analyze the conditions under which kaizen and lean production concepts were initially introduced. In the future it will allow to evaluate perspectives of Russian companies' transition to innovative concepts of managing modern production process in the current economic situation. To solve this issue, main social and economic factors as well as cultural features of the USA, Japan and Russia have been analyzed.
