The adaptability of the organization in the context of external uncertainty

Abstract:
Today, there are more and more authors who argue the need for fundamental changes in the structure and management of the organization. The reason for this lies in the constant changes in the external environment, so that the company must have a certain adaptability to quickly adapt to such changes. The purpose of this article is to identify the general characteristics that the companies referring themselves to the "adaptive" should have. As a result, modern Russian enterprises can compare their characteristics with those identified in the article to understand their strengths and weaknesses in the framework of adaptation. Also at the end of the article the author's definition of the concept "adaptive organization" is given.
