Abstract:
A system of economic security assessment indicators is used to diagnose and prevent possible threats to national security in various spheres of economic activity. The problem of practical applicability of this system and existing methods of assessment is relevant and requires changes in the methodology and nature of the assessment of economic security of the country (region). A review of the scientific literature on the applicability of the system of criteria for assessing economic security showed the debatable problem of the validity of indicators and their thresholds. Problems of work with the list of indicators approved in 2017 are revealed. It is proposed to group the indicators of economic security assessment by spheres of activity, which reflect the main economic directions of the country, allowing to identify the most serious threats to its economic security.
