Abstract:
The article deals with the historical and religious background of collectivization of the Russian village. Using the artifacts of the "journey" of his great grandfather Kuzma in the old believer Ligovskoe common-community, the author argues that the preconditions of communalization of life coming from the Russian of pagan, early Christian, and especially the old Slavonic rites of worship, to the greatest degree inherent to the revolution the conservatives. Reveals the geopolitical underpinnings of the reforms of Nikon, their relationship with Westernism and liberalism
