Abstract:
Active development of innovation activities and increased business competition indicate the importance of studying the issue of adaptation of economic systems to stress by means of intellectual capital management. Thus, the consideration of the phenomenon of adaptation of economic systems becomes relevant, as well as understanding of its mechanisms, characteristics and purposes. In view of the fact that in economic sciences this issue remains poorly studied, the author of the article suggested an approach to the understanding of adaptation through its comparison with the systems of "living organisms", and also amended the definition of concepts such as: adaptation, adaptability and adaptive mechanism.
The article also considers the adaptive mechanism of the structural components of intellectual capital such as motivated use of information capital and management capital as a means of adaptation to the current conditions of the market environment. As a result of the analysis of the application of this resource the author reveal a number of issues in management and use of intellectual capital, and proposes a number of recommendation for their solutions.
