Abstract:
The article bases on the impetus of the development of wireless technologiesis occurred in recent years. The article shows the latest trends such as omnichannel distribution model, the concept of the Internet of Things, 3D-printing and uberization. The author argues that the current trends in the development of the logistics are connected to the appearance and the intensive development of digital technologies that can help meet the growing needs of consumers. We study the examples of modern trends. We stress that modern digital technology will lead to the supply chain transformation and the companies with traditional approaches and technologies in the logistics management will not be able to remain competitive.
