Abstract:
In the article, a comprehensive methodology has been developed. The methodology allows to fully take into account all factors determining the investment attractiveness of an organization, including the impact of competition. It is noted that the authors involved in the development of this problem, when assessing the financial condition and the level of business development of the organization, took into account only one aspect of the manifestation of this factor: competition in the commodity market. It is suggested to take into account another aspect of competition in the market of investment resources, as it is also significant from the point of view of investment attractiveness of the organization. Thus, the article confirmed that competition in the market of investment resources can be expressed in the form of competition between buyers, between sellers, and simultaneously between sellers and buyers of investment resources. The choice of this factor is based on the fact that investment resources are limited, which suggests that access to them becomes more difficult as competition in the investment resources market increases. For this purpose, an additional block of the authors' methodology has been developed. This block will improve the quality of investment attractiveness assessment. The developed methodology has a wide range of applications: it can be used both by a potential investor to choose the best investment alternative and by an investment entity for management purposes. The application of the methodology is illustrated by the example of the assessment of the investment attractiveness of the Tula agro-industrial company. Tests have shown that without taking this factor into account, the result is less reliable than with it. This confirms the expediency of adjusting the existing methodology.
