Developing the concept of urban mobility: residential mobility

Abstract:
The modern approach to the transportation system of a large city is through the concept of urban mobility, which includes mobility as a service, vehicle sharing models, and smart urban logistics. The relationship between the concept of urban mobility and the goals of sustainable development is fully presented in scientific publications. However, the integrative nature of urban mobility includes not only the integration of transport modes, operators, route and schedule information, location of car sharing, accessibility of infrastructure and payment options, but also the integration with public space use options in a particular area of the city, forming a new concept in the development of urban mobility - residential mobility. The article analyzes scientific approaches to the use of public space for transportation and parking and defines the concept of residential mobility as an evolution of the concept of urban mobility.
