    Abstract:
    The author's monograph summarizes the practice of experimental research on the intensification of technological processing of tin production in order to create promising technologies and solve private bottlenecks. Special attention is paid to the intensification of the purification of concentrates from difficult-to-remove impurities during their melting and refining. For this purpose, a semi-industrial vibration apparatus for countercurrent leaching of concentrates from iron, bismuth, and tungsten with washing and dewatering of the product has been developed. In order to stabilize the purification of concentrates before melting, work was carried out to intensify the process of sulfate-chlorinating roasting from iron, sulfur, and arsenic impurities. The technology and apparatus for roasting concentrates with ammonium chloride with the regeneration of the reagent in circulation and the conversion of sulfur into soluble iron sulfate have been developed. However, the importance of mastering these works has disappeared due to the success of the development of centrifugal and vacuum refining of tin. Research on roasting technology continued in the direction of processing of dump sulfide tailings. The result of the work on the chloride-sulfiding roasting of sulfide tailings was the use of the method in the processing of current difficult-to-process industrial products with the release of non-toxic arsenic sulfide and tin stub for fusing. Special attention is paid to the search for selective low-temperature reduction of tin concentrate. The results of a study jointly with the institutes of the SB RAS on the recovery of concentrate by abrasion, under the pressure of an explosion, under the influence of an accelerator electron beam are presented. The work on the intensification of the processes of electric melting and fusing for the processing of certain types of raw materials and the complex extraction of tantalum and tungsten is summarized.
