Abstract:
Uzbekistan is currently implementing grandiose socio-economic reforms, becoming one of the leading CIS countries with an open economy. The country's new economic policy is aimed at expanding full-fledged cooperation with the Russian Federation, world and regional powers, integration associations, financial centers and with neighboring states, taking into account the special increased responsibility for the region. The aggravation of the global coronavirus pandemic, the increased uncertainty of the situation around Afghanistan cannot and should not be grounds for suspending the new course of socio-economic reforms of Uzbekistan to activate the development of the national economy, increase its role in the global world, the CIS and Central Asia. The Republic of Uzbekistan has all the necessary potential not only to overcome the difficulties that have arisen, but also to maximize the mobilization of its innovative development resources and increase its role in the global economy.
