Abstract:
Despite the long-term goals and objectives of state programs for the development of economy, innovation, resource conservation and sustainable development, the Russian economy is under strong state influence, which does not have high efficiency in supporting the development of the business sector, including the oil and gas industry. In this regard, the article reveals such aspects of state participation in the economy of the oil and gas sector as pricing, taxation, innovative and investment development, resource conservation (energy costs for mining), environmental aspects, as well as state participation in the ownership of mining organizations. The practical significance of the authors' research is to develop a high-quality economic and mathematical model that reflects the dependence of energy consumption in the oil and gas sector on a number of factors that can be controlled to predict the level of energy consumption in the industry. The close relationship between the energy consumption of the industry and the indicators of innovative activity of mining organizations was also evaluated.
