Abstract:
This paper explores the concept of lean production as a factor in improving the efficiency of the enterprise. The reasons explaining the need to introduce lean production in modern conditions are considered. Methodological aspects of lean production technology are formulated. Recommendations for implementing its individual tools are proposed. They are as follows: using a checklist at the stage of standardization of the "5S" system, introducing the 5S audit form, and maintaining an on-Board log for general care of TPM equipment. The possibilities of using project management tools and quality management systems in lean production are shown. The most universal approaches to evaluating the effect of implementing lean production based on the time characteristics of the value stream are proposed.
