Abstract:
The modern transport system is an important condition for the sustainable development of a megapolis. The article presents the evolution of the main models of urban mobility, describes the advantages of shared mobility, autonomy and electrification, which provide a transition from the preferred use of private cars to the perception of mobility as a service that includes a combination of different types of transport depending on the individual needs of citizens. Based on three scenarios (urbanization, unconstrained autonomy, and seamless mobility), the authors discuss the possibilities for further development of smart technologies in urban mobility.
