Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to familiarize readers with the results of the factor analysis of the total revenue from sales in the field of "Activities in the field of sports" in the regional context. To achieve the goal in the article: the characteristic of the object of study is given; the largest revenue enterprises of the industry are presented; the share of the industry in the field of physical culture and sports is determined; the dynamics and structure of the industry for the period from 2005 to 2017 are demonstrated; the change in the regional structure of the industry in the first half of 2018 is described; factor analysis of changes in the regional structure of the industry is conducted. General logical methods of cognition, factor analysis, graphical analysis were used to solve the tasks and achieve the goal. The main result presented in the article is the results of factor analysis of revenue, which reveal the level of influence of changes in revenue in the Federal districts on the overall change in revenue. The article as a scientific reserve and a basis for further research can be considered generalized data on the regional structure and dynamics of the industry "Activities in the field of sports". The practical significance of the article is that the results of factor analysis of revenue can be used in making management and investment decisions in the field of physical culture and sports. The data obtained in the article will be useful for scientists-economists, scientific and pedagogical workers to expand and deepen understanding of the dynamics of total revenue in the field of "Activities in the field of sports". The methodological base of the article can serve as an example in the formation of research competencies of students, undergraduates and graduate students.
