Abstract:
Purpose: explore the features of the assessment of environmental and economic efficiency of investment projects in agriculture. Materials and methods: the methodological basis of this article is the study of the assessment of environmental and economic efficiency of investment projects in the agro-industrial complex. When writing the article, such methods as analysis and synthesis, regulatory and legal were used. Results: the study allowed us to identify features of the evaluation of the effectiveness of projects in the field of agriculture, taking into account the characteristics of the industry. Conclusions: the significant importance of the agricultural sector in modern conditions exacerbates the problem of increasing the efficiency of its work. Therefore, it is necessary to study in detail the evaluation of investment projects in this area, the effectiveness of which depends largely on the quality of the entire sector. However, it is very important to remember that substantial economic efficiency is not an absolute indicator for the implementation of the project, since it is also important to remember the consequences that may arise when it is implemented in the field of ecology. Some projects can have a significant negative impact on the environment and the environment, which is an important issue in this area, so the implementation of projects is possible only if they are environmentally friendly and have a minimal impact on the environment. Application: the findings and research results can be used in the evaluation of investment projects in the agro-industrial complex.
