Abstract:
In the article we try to form and justify the principles of integration of higher education institutions and enterprises considering the interaction between innovation and educational activities. We suggest the typology of high schools according to their role in innovative process. On the basis of the system of indicators selected by the authors, we made a cluster analysis of data on a group of Russian universities. Based on the results of the analysis, we marked out various types of universities’ groups with significant differences in the direction and content of partnerships with external organizations. The obtained results confirm the validity of the proposed principles for the integration of higher education institutions and enterprises, and can be used in development strategies of universities.
