Abstract:
The theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of regional strategizing procedures as a key tool for solving problems of modernization of the Russian economy are examined in the monograph. The research shows the role and importance of econometric methods and information technologies in the knowledge economy, which contribute to the development and provide the implementation of innovative methods of managing socio-economic systems in the Russian Federation. The monograph can be recommended for implementation in the educational process in such courses as “Regional economy”, “Quantitative methods of economic analysis”, “Models of economic growth”, ”Macroeconomic policy and forecasting”, “Economic statistics”, etc. The book is intended for students, postgraduates, doctoral students, researchers, teachers of economic universities and faculties, as well as for a wide range of readers who are interested in regional economy issues.
