Abstract:
The paper analyzes the current challenges and threats to the economic security of the Russian Federation. It concluded that the country has created two systems of actions of all authorities to increase the level of economic security. The first system is the constant monitoring by all authorities of the parry minor threats to economic security, which are included in the Strategy or formulated there in an extremely general form with a very optimistic conclusion that there is a general improvement in the situation. The second system is an uncontrolled and uninteresting struggle of individual departments and organizations that faced with real, real threats to economic security in each calendar period. In this connection, an author’s approach proposed for overcoming this situation: it is necessary annually add to the Strategy a list of threats that are the most acute and dangerous for a given year, making them thereby subject to strict control. There is a good practice of changing existing laws. So, it necessary to apply this practice. One can imagine what kind of resistance this will cause, for example, at the Ministry of Economic Development. Indeed, at the same time, it clearly revealed that the situation with economic security is far from optimistic.
