Abstract:
The monograph summarizes the results of the research of problems of a linguocultural approach to teaching foreign language in higher grades at specialized school. The paper carries out a retrospective analysis of the emergence of a linguocultural approach to teaching foreign language at high school, reveals the possibility of holding an elective course in the framework of a linguocultural approach. The monograph also presents a foreign language teaching method from the standpoint of linguocultural approach with detailed consideration of each of the stages.
The publication is intended for teachers of foreign languages, experts in intercultural communication, university undergraduates, high school students of humanitarian (linguistic) profile, and for those interested in the issues of modern teaching of foreign languages and culture.
