Abstract:
The paper presents the results of a study of FEFU research laboratories as formal communities of practice. The case study was chosen as the main method for conducting empirical research. The conducted research has shown that the research laboratories fully comply with the formal communities of practice in the blocks "Characteristics of the staff of research laboratories", "Benefits provided by research laboratories" and partially correspond to the blocks "Characteristics of research laboratories and their processes", "Characteristics of the communication system of research laboratories".
