Abstract:
The goal of the study is to identify the main threats that affect the economic security of the region, and the prospects for their reduction. The article calculates the foreign trade indicators of the Republic of Crimea, namely, trade balance for 2014-2016, the coefficients of covering the export of imports of goods. We reveal negative trade balance in 2015 and 2016 and identify the main threats to economic security of the Republic of Crimea. Among them, there is a threat to the food security of the region; in 2016 food imports exceeded exports by 2 times, as well as the rapid aging of the population and negative demographic indicators.
