Abstract:
The article examines the relationship between the development of agro-industrial clustering and employment growth in the region. The impact of the agro-industrial cluster development on employment is analyzed. The article reveals the essential aspects of increasing the level of employment through the creation and development of agro-industrial clusters. Examples of the clusters impact on employment in Russian regions are given. Possible variants of changes in the structure of the territorial labour market are shown, taking into account the development of a regional agro-industrial cluster. Special attention is paid to the need to develop theoretical foundations and methodological tools in the implementation of the mechanism for creating new jobs through the development of agro-industrial clusters. The methodological and theoretical basis of the article was the works of the authors devoted to solving employment problems. Within the framework of the study, the following methods were used: systematization, comparison, comparison, generalization, logical method, methods of analysis and description. In conclusion, the article substantiates the idea of the need for the formation and development of agro-industrial clusters in order to provide the rural population with decent earnings and prestigious professions.
