<abstract xml:lang="en">
The article examines the dual impact of technological innovations on the phenomenon of NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) on a global scale.
Based on the analysis of empirical studies, data from the International Labour Organization and statistical surveys, the authors systematize the key channels of digital transformation impact on the vulnerability of young people. It is shown that automation, artificial intelligence, and the platform economy simultaneously create risks of reducing entry-level jobs and open up new opportunities for integration through digital education, distance employment, and hybrid support models.

Special attention is paid to gender disparities in the NEET category and the hikikomori phenomenon as an extreme form of technologically mediated isolation. The directions of policy decisions and future research, taking into account the systemic nature of the problem, are proposed.

<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">
NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) в глобальном масштабе.
