<abstract xml:lang="en">
The article examines price transmission from the oil market to different segments of global commodity markets during the 2026 oil shock. The empirical dataset contains daily US-dollar price series for Brent crude oil, European TTF natural gas, ammonia, wheat, palm oil, gold and copper. The analysis uses log price changes, Pearson and Spearman correlations, contemporaneous and lagged regressions, robust standard errors, and a comparison of pre-shock and stress regimes. The results reveal a stable positive relationship of Brent with European natural gas and palm oil. For gold, the relationship changes from positive before March to negative after the shock, which is consistent with a financial-liquidity channel. Copper also exhibits a negative relationship in the stress regime, while a joint model with gold indicates the importance of a common financial factor. Wheat and ammonia show weaker links; additional tests for ammonia point to a closer relationship with TTF, consistent with ammonia being a feedstock for urea and other nitrogen fertilizers.

<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">
