<abstract xml:lang="en">
The article addresses the issue of maintaining the independence of economic analysis and the reliability of evaluating learning outcomes when using generative artificial intelligence in the educational process. It is proposed to distinguish two areas of its application: education for artificial intelligence and artificial intelligence for education. The first area is related to the student's preparation for professional activity using generative models, and the second one is related to the use of artificial intelligence capabilities directly in academic work.

The sarticle shows the relationship between these areas based on the differentiation of the functions of the student and the digital assistant. The practical implementation of the proposed approach is the Monetary Simulator technique. The study determined the composition of operations that can be transferred to an artificial intelligence service, justified the need to fix the initial position before contacting the AI, and established requirements for verifying information, sources, and calculations.

The article proposes using modifications to the essential condition of the educational case to test the validity of cause-and-effect relationships. The article formulates criteria for assessing learner autonomy and the conditions for the reproducibility of the methodology when applied to various AI services.

It is shown that the effectiveness of working with artificial intelligence is determined primarily by the distribution of functions between participants in educational activities rather than the quality of the automatically generated response. The article is of interest to researchers of digital pedagogy, academic staff teaching economic disciplines, methodologists and heads of educational programs.

<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">
