<abstract xml:lang="en">
The growing prevalence of food supply chain inefficiencies has intensified food insecurity and poverty status overall the world. Measuring food supply chain efficiency requires a systematic approach that goes beyond single-stage and single-dimensional metrics. This study aims to develop system indictors’ for measuring efficiency food supply chains. Systematic literature review and Bibliometric analysis were employed. The data were retrieved from 54 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025 in Scopus database. Bibliometric analyses were performed by using biblioshiny and systematic literature review were extracted indictors classified. The study found that the previous studies have largely been framed within sustainability discourses, resulting in fragmented efficiency indicators that fail to capture the interconnected nature of food supply chain systems. This study also identified twenty-three distinct efficiency-based indicators that are important for measuring the efficiency of the food supply chains. At the end, the system based efficiency indictors were organized across four supply chain stages and three efficiency dimensions. This study contributes to both academic research and policymaking by developing a system-based framework that conceptualizes food supply chain efficiency as a measurable multidimensional construct.

<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">
