The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the factors and trends in the integration of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of India into the global economy. The structural features of Indian agriculture, as well as the dynamics of production and export of agro-industrial goods, are defined. The influence of economic associations - the SCO and BRICS - as new vectors of Indiarsquo;s foreign economic cooperation in the agro-industrial sector is identified. The prospects for the transformation of Indiarsquo;s agro-industrial sector under the influence of digitalization are examined. Based on data from official sources (Indiarsquo;s Ministry of Agriculture and Farmersrsquo; Welfare, UN FAO, WTO, World Bank), the challenges and opportunities for strengthening the global position of the Indian agro-industrial complex on the world stage are determined.
В статье представлен комплексный анализ факторов и тенденций интеграции агропромышленного комплекса Республики Индии в мировую экономику. Определены структурные особенности сельского хозяйства Индии, динамика производства и экспорта товаров АПК. Выявлено влияние экономических объединений - ШОС и БРИКС как новых векторов внешнеэкономического сотрудничества Индии в сфере АПК. Рассмотрены перспективы трансформации агропромышленного сектора Индии под влиянием цифровизации. На основе данных официальных источников (Министерство сельского хозяйства и благосостояния фермеров Индии, FAO ООН, ВТО, Всемирный банк) определены вызовы и возможности для усиления глобальных позиций индийского АПК на мировой арене.
