<abstract xml:lang="en">
The article analyzes the industrial structure of Equatorial Guinea, which is based on natural resource extraction, with a particular focus on the role of oil and gas in transforming the national economy. The article examines the historical evolution of the country's economy from agricultural predominance to the dominance of the oil and gas sector. The contribution of the primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors to the production system is assessed. The article identifies the consequences of concentration on extractive industries, including increased government revenues and infrastructure development, as well as challenges related to dependence on global energy markets. Prospects for economic diversification amid the global energy transition are analyzed. The article concludes that developing alternative sectors, such as agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism, is necessary to ensure sustainable economic growth.

<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">
