The article examines the impact of digital technologies on the standard of living of the rural population. The trend of sustainable growth of digital service users is emphasized. The emphasis is placed on the gap in the use of information technology in urban and rural households due to the geographical features of Russia. It is noted that thanks to the successful work of the Digital Inequality Elimination Program, it was possible to provide rural settlements with a population of over 200 people with digital communications. However, there are many small villages and hamlets on the map of Russia that are still isolated from the outside world. The solution to this problem is possible only through their inclusion in the Digital Inequality Elimination Program.
В статье рассматривается влияние цифровых технологий на уровень жизни сельского населения. Подчеркивается тенденция устойчивого роста пользователей цифровых услуг. Делается акцент на разрыв в использовании информационных технологий в городских и сельских домашних хозяйствах ввиду географических особенностей России. Отмечается, что благодаря успешной работе Программы устранения цифрового неравенства удалось обеспечить цифровой связью сельские поселения с численность жителей свыше 200 человек. Однако на территории России немало малочисленных сел и деревень, которые до сих пор остаются изолированными от внешнего мира. Решение данной проблемы возможно лишь за счет включения их в Программу по устранению цифрового неравенства.
