N this article, the authors set a goal to study the change in the volume and structure of fruit and berry production in Turkey that occurred in 2014-2023 based on FAO statistics. We found that during the stated time, their gross harvest in this country increased from 19.887 million tons to 27.448 million tons, that is, by 38.02%. This led to the fact that the importance of this country in the global production of fresh fruit and berry products over the covered analysis period increased from 2.42% to 2.88%, and among other producing countries, it was second only to China, India and Brazil. In per capita terms, Turkey increased by 23.42%: from 254.8 kg to 314.5 kg. These positive results are largely due to an increase in external demand for fruits and berries from nearby countries, including Russia. In 2023, the top ten main types of fresh fruit and berry products grown in Turkey were apples - 4602.5 thousand tons (16.77% of the total production of fruits and berries in this country), grapes - 3400.0 thousand tons (12.39%), watermelons - 3147.9 thousand tons (11.47%), tangerines - 2952.8 thousand tons (10.76%), lemons and limes - 2325.7 thousand tons (8.47%), oranges - 2311.3 thousand tons (8.42%), melons - 1403.2 thousand tons (5.11%), peaches and nectarines - 1076.9 thousand tons (3.92%), bananas - 930.2 thousand tons (3.39%), apricots - 750.0 thousand tons (2.73%).
В этой статье авторы поставили цель на основе статистических данных ФАО исследовать изменения в объемах и структуре производства в Турции фруктов и ягод, которые произошли за 2014-2023 гг. Выявлено, что в течение этого времени их валовые сборы повысились с 19,887 млн т до 27,448 млн т, то есть на 38,02%. Это привело к тому, что доля данного государства в общемировом производстве свежей плодово-ягодной продукции за охваченный анализом период возросла с 2,42% до 2,88%, а сама она среди прочих стран-продуцентов уступает только КНР, Индии и Бразилии. В расчете на душу населения Турции производство увеличилось на 23,42%: с 254,8 кг до 314,5 кг. Во многом эти положительные результаты обусловлены повышением внешнего спроса на фрукты и ягоды со стороны рядом расположенных стран, в том числе и России. В 2023 г. в первой десятке основных видов свежей плодово-ягодной продукции, выращиваемых в Турции, были яблоки - 4602,5 тыс. т (16,77% от совокупного производства фруктов и ягод в этой стране), виноград - 3400,0 тыс. т (12,39%), арбузы - 3147,9 тыс. т (11,47%), мандарины - 2952,8 тыс. т (10,76%), лимоны и лаймы - 2325,7 тыс. т (8,47%), апельсины - 2311,3 тыс. т (8,42%), дыни - 1403,2 тыс. т (5,11%), персики и нектарины - 1076,9 тыс. т (3,92%), бананы - 930,2 тыс. т (3,39%), абрикосы - 750,0 тыс. т (2,73%).
