Currently, the BRICS integration association is playing an increasingly important role in the global economy. In many member countries of the association, the agricultural sector is one of the leading ones. The BRICS countries occupy a significant share of the global market for seeds and fruits of oilseeds and their processed products - vegetable oil and meal. The production of fat and oil products is the most important industry in global agriculture. Along with grain, oilseeds and their processed products are not only the main ingredient in the diet in many regions of the world, but also a valuable protein supplement in animal feed. The most significant oilseed crops in terms of production and trade are soybeans, rapeseed, sunflower, and oil palm. Brazil is a leader in the production and export of soybeans, Russia cultivates rapeseed, soybeans, sunflower, the country exports significant amounts of vegetable oil and meal, India and China are producers of crops such as rapeseed, soybeans, peanuts, while they are the largest importers of oilseed products. Indonesia is a leader in the production of oil palm and the export of palm oil, the sales of which outstrip all other types of vegetable oils. Thus, the importance of the BRICS countries in the global market of fat and oil products cannot be overestimated. The article presents data on the production of various types of oilseed products (seeds, vegetable oil, meal) in the BRICS countries in a new composition, which includes ten countries in 2025. The article considers the level of production of soybeans, the most widespread oilseed crop in the world by the main producing countries and the volume of trade in their processed products.
В настоящее время объединение БРИКС играет все более значимую роль в мировой экономике. Во многих странах - членах объединения аграрный сектор является одним из ведущих в экономике. Страны БРИКС занимают значительную долю мирового рынка семян и плодов масличных культур и продуктов их переработки - растительного масла и шрота. Производство масложировой продукции - важнейшая отрасль в глобальном сельском хозяйстве. Наряду с зерном масличные и продукты их переработки являются не только основным ингредиентом в рационе питания во многих регионах мира, но также ценной белковой добавкой в кормах для сельскохозяйственных животных. Наиболее значимыми масличными культурами по объемам производства и торговли являются соевые бобы, рапс, подсолнечник, масличная пальма. Бразилия - лидер по производству и экспорту соевых бобов, Россия возделывает рапс, соевые бобы, подсолнечник, экспортирует значительные объемы растительного масла и шрота, Индия и Китай являются производителями таких культур, как рапс, соевые бобы, арахис, при этом они крупнейшие импортеры масличной продукции. Индонезия - лидер по производству масличной пальмы и экспорту пальмового масла. Со вступлением в состав объединения Индонезии позиция БРИКС на мировом рынке масложировой продукции еще более укрепилась. Таким образом, значение стран БРИКС на мировом рынке масложировой продукции трудно переоценить. В статье представлены данные о производстве различных видов масличной продукции (семена, растительное масло, шрот) в странах объединения БРИКС в новом составе, включающем в 2025 году десять стран. Рассмотрен уровень производства соевых бобов - наиболее распространенной в мире масличной культуры основными странами-производителями и объемы торговли продуктами их переработки.
