In this article, the authors analyzed the change in the volume and structure of production of fresh fruit and berry products in Indonesia for 2014-2023, which is of great importance in the countryrsquo;s agriculture. It was revealed that during the period covered by the analysis, gross harvest of these products in Indonesia increased by 38.76%: from 18.742 million tons to 26.006 million tons. As a result, this led to an increase in the importance of this country in the global harvest of fruits, berries and nuts from 2.25% to 2.68%. In 2023, the top five main types of fresh fruit and berry products grown in Indonesia were bananas - 9.335 million tons (35.90% of the total production of fruits, berries and nuts in this country), mangoes, guavas and mangosteens - 4.104 million tons (15.78%), pineapples - 3.157 million tons (12.14%), oranges - 2.923 million tons (11.24%) and other tropical fruits not included in other categories - 2.243 million tons (8.63%). Almost the entire harvest of fresh fruit and berry products grown in the country under study is directed, first of all, to meet its own needs, and only some of its categories are exported. The authors believe that the trend of increasing population and urbanization in Indonesia in the future may negatively affect the provision of the countryrsquo;s residents with fruits, berries and nuts.
В статье представлен анализ изменений за 2014-2023 гг. объемов и структуры производства в Индонезии свежей плодово-ягодной продукции, которая имеет важное значение в сельском хозяйстве данной страны. Выявлено, что за охваченный анализом период валовые сборы этой продукции в Индонезии увеличились на 38,76%: с 18,742 млн т до 26,006 млн т. Это привело к повышению вклада данной страны в глобальный урожай фруктов, ягод и орехов с 2,25% до 2,68%. В 2023 г. в первая пятерка основных видов свежей плодово-ягодной продукции, выращенной в Индонезии, выглядела так: бананы - 9,335 млн т (35,90% от совокупного производства фруктов, ягод и орехов в стране), манго, гуава и мангостан - 4,104 млн т (15,78%), ананасы - 3,157 млн т (12,14%), апельсины - 2,923 млн т (11,24%) и не включенные в другие категории прочие тропические фрукты - 2,243 млн т (8,63%). Практически весь выращенный в исследуемой стране урожай свежей плодово-ягодной продукции направляется прежде всего на удовлетворение потребностей собственного населения, и только некоторые из ее категорий экспортируются. Авторы считают, что увеличение численности населения Индонезии при дальнейшем росте урбанизации в будущем может негативно отразиться на обеспечении жителей данного государства фруктами, ягодами и орехами.
