The article reviews and summarizes a number of scientific papers devoted to the study of the essence of the most important economic categories ldquo;growthrdquo; and ldquo;developmentrdquo;. The research is theoretical in nature. A systematic approach and a set of general scientific methods are used as a methodological basis. The points of view of modern domestic and foreign authors on this problem are revealed. The purpose of the article is to determine the theoretical content, the specifics of the inextricably linked processes of economic growth and development, the driving forces and the mechanism of their evolution, to identify the factors that determine them. The fundamental differences of these concepts are presented, the nature of their interdependence is determined. A classification of significant factors of economic growth is proposed. The problem of economic growth and development in the agro-food sector is considered. The features of the agro-food complex as a complex socio-economic system in constant development are noted. The factors-causes, factors-actions, factors-consequences determining changes in the agro-food sector are highlighted. Taking into account the tasks of the analyzed sphere at the present stage, the importance of innovative factors for the development and improvement of the efficiency of the agricultural sector of the economy is emphasized.
В статье проведены обзор и обобщение ряда научных работ, посвященных исследованию сущности важнейших экономических категорий: рост и развитие. Исследование имеет теоретический характер. В качестве методологической основы применяются системный подход и комплекс общенаучных методов. Раскрываются точки зрения современных отечественных и зарубежных авторов по данной проблеме. Цель статьи - определить теоретическое содержание, специфику неразрывно связанных процессов экономического роста и развития, движущие силы и механизм их эволюции, выявить факторы, их обусловливающие. Представлены принципиальные различия данных понятий, определена природа их взаимозависимости. Предложена классификация значимых факторов экономического роста. Рассмотрена постановка проблемы экономического роста и развития в агропродовольственной сфере. Отмечены особенности агропродовольственного комплекса как сложной социально-экономической системы, находящейся в постоянном развитии. Выделены факторы-причины, факторы-действия, факторы-следствия, определяющие изменения в агропродовольственной сфере. С учетом задач анализируемой сферы на современном этапе подчеркивается важность инновационных факторов для развития, повышения эффективности аграрного сектора экономики.
