The article is devoted to the study of the features of food inflation in Russia in the context of assessing the main factors and causes that determine it: monetary and non-monetary, economic and non-economic, external and internal, lying on the supply and demand side. Based on the analysis of inflationary processes and factors determining food demand for the period 2000-2022, the authors conclude that the main cause of food inflation in Russia is the increase in production costs, which causes cost inflation. The study of the dynamics and factors of inflation in individual food markets has shown that the rates of price growth and their volatility vary depending on the specific food product and the specifics of the market: agricultural raw materials and processed food products; the level of concentration and monopolization of the market; integration into the world market and orientation to domestic demand. Based on the results of the study, the authors formulated proposals to improve the anti-inflationary policy in the Russian Federation.
Статья посвящена изучению особенностей продовольственной инфляции в России в контексте оценки основных факторов и причин, ее определяющих: монетарных и немонетарных, экономических и неэкономических, внешних и внутренних, лежащих на стороне спроса и предложения. На основе анализа инфляционных процессов и факторов, определяющих спрос на продовольствие за период 2000-2022 гг. авторы делают вывод о том, что основной причиной продовольственной инфляции в России является рост затрат на производство и реализацию продукции, вызывающий инфляцию издержек. Исследование динамики и факторов инфляции на отдельных продовольственных рынках показало, что темпы роста цен и их волатильность различаются в зависимости от конкретного продовольственного товара и специфики рынка: сельскохозяйственное сырье и готовая продукция; уровень концентрации и монополизации рынка; интеграция в мировой рынок и ориентация на внутренний спрос. По результатам исследования авторами сформулированы предложения по совершенствованию антиинфляционной политики в РФ.
