Currently, the world is undergoing a transition from an industrial to a post-industrial information society. This transition requires a new approach to managing society. The article develops, or rather, only outlines, creative institutions of the information society. Creative institutions of the information society are understood as the governing bodies of the information society, developing under the controlling and educational influence emanating from global trends, which irresistibly affect all attributes of the earthly world, unpredictably changing population, economy, nature and the consciousness of the information society. Creative institutions are able to regularly identify additional resources (opportunities) that regularly and unpredictably arise in the process of the nonlinear development of the earthly world, and successfully solve their current tasks, purposefully moving in the wake of these trends, using their powerful irresistible energy. Additional resources are understood not only as material and economic resources but also as information resources that play a huge role in the development of the information society. These institutions are capable of solving new unpredictable problems that arise in the course of the historical development of the world. In particular, the problems of harmonization of relations between producers and consumers. The article substantiates the creative properties of these institutions. By assimilating and mastering these properties, these institutions consolidate them in the form of appropriate management rules.
