The article provides the theoretical synthesis and analysis of the interaction between the acceleration principle and the multiplier effect in the context of the regional economy. The scientific problem lies in the insufficient development of the mechanisms of the combined influence of these concepts on sustainable growth and the cyclical nature of territorial development. In the course of the study, the authors conducted an essential analysis and visualized the processes of the interrelationship between investment, income, production, and consumption. The article substantiates the unity of the accelerator and multiplier mechanisms as the basis for economic fluctuations. The article identifies direct, indirect, and induced acceleration effects and determines the influence of regional specifics, time lags, and risks of non-targeted investment on the effectiveness of this mechanism. The need to take into account the identified relationships for strategizing diversification and sustainable growth of regions is reflected. The article will be useful to researchers in the field of regional economics, macroeconomic analysis, as well as practitioners involved in the development of investment and industrial policy at the subnational level.

Статья посвящена теоретическому синтезу и анализу взаимодействия принципа акселерации и мультипликативного эффекта в контексте региональной экономики. Научная проблема заключается в недостаточной проработанности механизмов совместного влияния концепций на устойчивый рост и цикличность развития территорий. В ходе исследования авторами проведен сущностный анализ и визуализированы процессы взаимосвязи инвестиций, дохода, производства и потребления. Научными результатами являются: 1) обоснование единства механизма акселератора и мультипликатора, как основы экономических колебаний; 2) выявление прямых, косвенных и индуцированных эффектов акселерации; 3) определение влияния региональной специфики, временных лагов и рисков нецелевого инвестирования на эффективность данного механизма. Отражена необходимость учета выявленных взаимосвязей для стратегирования диверсификации и устойчивого роста регионов. Статья будет полезна исследователям в области региональной экономики, макроэкономического анализа, а также практикам, занимающимся разработкой инвестиционной и промышленной политики на субнациональном уровне.
