The article examines the relationship between the regional digitalization level and the dynamics of scientific personnel training in the subjects of the Central Federal District for 2014–2023. Scientific and pedagogical personnel play a key role in ensuring technological sovereignty. At the same time, digital transformation has a contradictory impact on educational trajectories. The article provides an empirical approach to assessing the relationship between the share of the population that uses the Internet on a daily basis and the number of students at all levels of education, including postgraduate and doctoral studies. The article reveals the regional differentiation of these processes and proves the weak or absent dependence of the scientific personnel training on the level of digitalization, in contrast to secondary vocational education, which demonstrates a high sensitivity to digital trends. The results obtained confirm the initial hypothesis that there is a differentiated relationship between the studied fields and indicate the detachment of academic science from mass digitalization. The research results can be used in the future by researchers and representatives of public and municipal authorities in the development of regional scientific and educational policy, as well as for the analysis of structural imbalances in the training system of highly qualified personnel.

В статье исследуется взаимосвязь между уровнем цифровизации регионов и динамикой подготовки научных кадров в субъектах Центрального федерального округа за 2014–2023 гг. Актуальность работы обусловлена ключевой ролью научно-педагогических кадров в обеспечении технологического суверенитета и противоречивым влиянием цифровой трансформации на образовательные траектории. В работе сформирован эмпирический подход к оценке связи между долей населения, ежедневно использующего интернет, и численностью обучающихся на всех уровнях образования, включая аспирантуру и докторантуру. Научная новизна заключается в выявлении региональной дифференциации этих процессов и доказательстве слабой или отсутствующей зависимости подготовки научных кадров от уровня цифровизации, в отличие от среднего профессионального образования, которое демонстрирует высокую чувствительность к цифровым трендам. Полученные результаты подтверждают исходную гипотезу о наличии дифференцированной зависимости между изучаемыми сферами и указывают на «отстраненность» академической науки от массовой цифровизации. Работа может быть использована в дальнейшем исследователями и представителями органов государственной и муниципальной власти при разработке региональной научной и образовательной политики, а также для анализа структурных дисбалансов в системе подготовки кадров высшей квалификации
