The article describes the David Teece's concept of dynamic capabilities and its place in the theory of strategic management of small and medium businesses. In particular, the results of quantitative and qualitative analyses of foreign publications on various aspects of the concept are presented. The research results prove the growing level of relevance of the theory in modern realities. The article describes the research results of leading modern management theorists, which substantiate the importance and effectiveness of the concept of dynamic capabilities in relation to the development of modern small and medium-sized businesses. Based on the quantitative analysis of the dynamics of publications in the foreign scientific space, the authors come to the conclusion that modern researchers do not pay enough attention to the problem of applying this concept in small and medium-sized businesses, despite the latter's urgent need for innovative effective tools for the formation of strategic sustainability.

В статье описывается современное состояние концепции динамических способностей, предложенной Дэвидом Тисом, и ее место в теории стратегического управления малым и средним бизнесом. В частности, приводятся результаты количественного и качественного анализа зарубежных публикаций по различным аспектам концепции, которые доказывают растущий уровень актуальности теории в современных реалиях. Также описаны результаты исследований ведущих современных теоретиков менеджмента, которые обосновывают значимость и эффективность концепции динамических способностей применительно к развитию современного малого и среднего бизнеса. На основе проведенного авторами количественного анализа динамики публикаций в зарубежном научном пространстве сделан вывод о недостаточной степени внимания со стороны современных исследователей к проблеме применения концепции в малом и среднем бизнесе, несмотря на острую нужду последнего в инновационных эффективных инструментах формирования стратегической устойчивости.
