В статье исследуется потребность высших учебных заведений Республики Узбекистан в осуществлении предпринимательской деятельности. Особое внимание уделяется оценке влияние увеличения доли предпринимательской деятельности, научно-исследовательских и опытно-конструкторских работ высших учебных заведений на валовой внутренний продукт страны. Доказано, что существует высокая корреляция между численностью работников, занятых научными исследованиями и разработками, и долей высокотехнологичных и наукоемких секторов экономики в ВВП.
The article studies the need for entrepreneurial activity of higher education institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It also studies the impact of the increase in the share of entrepreneurial activity, scientific research and experimental design work of higher education institutions on the country's gross domestic product. It is substantiated that there is a high correlation between the number of employees engaged in scientific research and development and the share of high-tech and knowledge-intensive sectors of the economy in GDP.
