<abstract xml:lang="en">
The article analyzes the importance of the knowledge management system at the university for the effective implementation of administrative, educational, research and business activities. A conceptual scheme of knowledge flows in the university by type of activity, reflecting its movement, accumulation and reuse, has been formed. The main obstacles to the implementation and development of a knowledge management system have been identified; and approaches to overcoming them have been proposed. A systematic approach to the creation of a knowledge management system is substantiated. The approaches are based not only on traditional types of university activities, but also on new ones, specific to the target business models to which advanced universities are currently transitioning. The article will be of interest to researchers studying the specifics of the introduction and development of a knowledge management system in higher education institutions and the digital transformation of education, as well as to employees of educational institutions.

<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">
