<abstract xml:lang="en">
The article analyzes the problems of economic decision-making by human employees and artificial intelligence models, both from the point of view of competition between them and mutual work (cooperation). Today, two years after the appearance of ChatGPT, there is a gradual redistribution of the number of decisions in economic life from humans to large language models. When initially comparing economic decisions made by artificial intelligence algorithms and human employees, it was believed that machines would perform repetitive, routine operations, and humans would retain the creative part of the work. Employees, possessing Polanyi's tacit knowledge, had a competitive advantage in decision-making over large language models. However, it is the artificial intelligence models of recent years that occupy the last niche of human labor, acting independently in business processes without direct control of employees in real time. Today, artificial intelligence agents have appeared that can independently interact with the virtual world. The author reveals the prospects for maintaining the competitive advantage of people in economic decision-making in the coming years compared to large language models. The article analyzes the pessimistic and optimistic scenarios of cooperation in the economy of human employees and artificial intelligence models. The author concludes that the primacy of man in economic decision-making will be preserved only in the case of increased investment in human capital.

<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">
