<abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The successful introduction of advanced digital technologies ensures the innovative character of economic development, which positively affects all its spheres, including foreign economic activity. The problematic issues of the introduction of advanced digital technologies into the activities of Russian companies participating in foreign economic activity require updating and supplementing in order to identify problematic areas of application of artificial intelligence in modern conditions of customs authorities' activity and conducting foreign economic activity.
The article deals with the problem of determining the areas of application of artificial intelligence technologies in foreign economic activity. On the basis of scientific analysis, the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the application of artificial intelligence in the field of interaction between customs authorities and Russian business, as well as in the process of foreign economic activity are studied. Promising directions for the introduction of advanced digital technologies into the activities of Russian companies participating in foreign economic activity have been identified.
The materials of the article can be used by academic staff, graduate students, masters and undergraduate students studying the disciplines of International Business, World Economy and International Economic Relations, as well as specialists dealing with the application of artificial intelligence in the interaction of customs authorities and enterprises engaged in foreign economic activity.</p>

<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Актуальность статьи определяется тем, что успешное внедрение передовых цифровых технологий обеспечивает инновационный характер развития экономики, благоприятно влияя на все ее сферы, включая и внешнеэкономическую деятельность. Проблемные вопросы внедрения передовых цифровых технологий в деятельность российских предприятий-участников внешнеэкономической деятельности требуют актуализации и дополнения с целью выявления проблемных мест применения искусственного интеллекта в современных условиях функционирования таможенных органов и ведения внешнеэкономической деятельности.
В статье решается вопрос определения направлений применения технологий искусственного интеллекта во внешнеэкономической деятельности, на основе научного анализа проведено исследование сильных и слабых сторон, возможностей и угроз использования возможностей искусственного интеллекта в сфере взаимодействия таможенных органов и российского бизнеса, а также в процессе осуществления внешнеторговых операций. Определены перспективные направления внедрения передовых цифровых технологий в деятельность российских предприятий-участников внешнеэкономической деятельности.
Материалы статьи могут быть использованы преподавателями вузов, аспирантами, магистрами и студентами, изучающих дисциплины «Международный бизнес», «Мировая экономика и международные экономические отношения», а также специалистами, занимающимися вопросами применения искусственного интеллекта для взаимодействия таможенных органов и бизнеса осуществляющего внешнеэкономическую деятельность</p>
