The importance of the information and communication technology sector for various economies of the world is growing. At the same time, there is still no single standard for quantifying the processes and success of digital transformation. The author attempts to derive definitions of the main concepts within the framework of the current study. In addition, the Digital Transformation Index is proposed for consideration. It is a new tool created on the basis of existing indices with the addition of important indicators of digital transformation from various sectors of the economy. Both the calculation of the index values for the period 2014-2022 and a comparative analysis of the selected countries were carried out. Methods of further analysis of the influence of factors (sub-indexes) on the economic development of the country are suggested. The new tool for assessing the digital transformation of the country's economy can be used by researchers in their research on this and related topics, and will also be relevant for a wide range of people to study in detail various aspects of the country's economic development.
Значимость сектора информационно-коммуникационных технологий для разных экономик мира возрастает, в то же время до сих пор отсутствует единый стандарт количественной оценки процессов и успешности цифровой трансформации. Автором предпринята попытка выведения определения основных терминов в рамках текущего исследования. Помимо этого, к рассмотрению предлагается Индекс цифровой трансформации – новый инструмент, созданный на базе уже существующих индексов с добавлением дополнительных важнейших показателей цифровой трансформации из различных сфер экономики. Проведены как расчеты значений Индекса за период 2014-2022 гг., так и сравнительный анализ выбранных стран. Предложены способы дальнейшего исследования влияния факторов (подындексов) на экономическое развитие страны. Новый инструмент оценки цифровой трансформации экономики страны может применяться исследователями в работах по указанной и смежным темам, а также будет актуален широкому кругу лиц в целях детального изучения различных аспектов развития экономики страны.
