The article analyzes the dynamics of the development of the BRICS countries and their role in the modern world order. The expansion and institutionalization of the BRICS are considered in the context of the influence of the participating countries on the modern world order. On the basis of the conducted research, it was found out that the intensification of cooperation between the BRICS countries consists in synchronizing their own interests in the field of national development and security in order to further achieve the goals of economic growth in the process of changing the world order. It is noted that the process of institutionalization of the BRICS countries in the context of influencing the modern world order is not an attempt to replace the West, but a desire for greater representation and participation in world processes. The macroeconomic indicators of the BRICS countries that determine their level of economic (national) security are analyzed. Assessing the economic security of the BRICS countries as a macro-region reveals their strengths. It is concluded that the implementation of international initiatives of the BRICS countries, such as Greater Eurasia and One Belt, One Road, determine the desire of the regional leaders for peace and security, development and full cooperation.
В работе представлена динамика развития стран БРИКС и их роль в современном миропорядке. Рассмотрены расширение и институционализация БРИКС в контексте влияния стран-участниц на современный миропорядок. На основе проведенного исследования установлено, что интенсификация сотрудничества стран БРИКС заключается в синхронизации собственных интересов в сфере национального развития и безопасности для последующего достижения целей экономического роста в процессе изменения миропорядка. Определено, что процесс институционализации стран БРИКС в контексте влияния на современный миропорядок – это не попытка заменить Запад, а стремление к большему представительству и участию в мировых процессах. Проанализированы макроэкономические показатели стран БРИКС, определяющие их уровень экономической (национальной) безопасности. Оценивая экономическую безопасность стран БРИКС как макрорегиона, выявлены его сильные стороны. Сделан вывод, что реализация международных инициатив стран БРИКС, таких как «Большая Евразия» и «Один пояс, один путь», обуславливают стремление региональных лидеров к миру и безопасности, развитию и полноправному сотрудничеству
