The article describes the main stages of internationalization of higher education in China. Cross-border student mobility, the level of inbound mobility, the dynamics of the number of foreign students, foreign academic staff, international scientific and technological cooperation between different universities are analyzed. The evaluation of scientific and technological cooperation from the perspective of regional development is given. Current trends in Chinese international education are reflected. The following conclusions were drawn. Many approaches to improve overall planning and regulation at the macro level, including improving the quality control system and regulatory mechanism for international cooperation programs at the government level, have been launched. Universities pay great attention to improving the quality of international cooperation programs; there is a significant imbalance in terms of regional development. The article suggests further directions for the development of partnership between Chinese and foreign universities.

В статье описаны основные этапы интернационализации высшего образования в Китае. Проанализированы трансграничная студенческая мобильность, уровень въездной мобильности, динамика количества иностранных студентов, иностранных преподавателей, международное научно-технологическое сотрудничество между различными вузами. Дана оценка научно-технологическому сотрудничеству точки зрения регионального развития. Отражены текущие тенденции в китайском международном образовании. Результаты исследования показали, что на правительственном уровне было запущено множество подходов к улучшению общего планирования и регулирования на макроуровне, включая совершенствование системы контроля качества и механизма регулирования международных программ сотрудничества; университеты уделяют большое внимание повышению качества программ международного сотрудничества; существует значительный дисбаланс с точки зрения регионального развития. В статье предложены дальнейшие направления развития партнерских отношений китайских и зарубежных университетов.
