The development of the global market for arms and military equipment at the present stage is associated with a whole complex of triggers (including those of a geopolitical nature): the manifestation of new military-political conflicts (Russian-Ukrainian and Israeli-Palestinian), restrictive US policy in the field of technological exports, and large-scale sanctions regimes in international practice. In the article, taking into account the paradigmatic properties and functions of the global arms and military equipment market, the current practice of regulating this market at the multilateral level is generalized. Based on the results of the study, structural and contemporary problems of the existing export control regimes in this industry market were identified; and possible directions for improving the multilateral regulation of international trade in arms and military equipment were summarized. The analysis was carried out within the framework of the impact on the world market of complex geopolitical trends, challenges of technological progress, and the complication of trade and economic relations between countries.

Развитие мирового рынка вооружений и военной техники (ВВТ) на современном этапе сопряжено с целым комплексом триггеров (в том числе геополитического характера) – проявлением новых военно-политических конфликтов (российско-украинский, израильско-палестинский), ограничительной политикой США в сфере экспорта технологий, масштабными режимами санкций в международной практике. В рамках нашего исследования с учетом парадигмальных свойств и функций мирового рынка ВВТ обобщена сложившаяся практика регулирования данного рынка на многостороннем уровне. По результатам исследования выявлены структурные и современные проблемы сформировавшихся режимов экспортного контроля на данном отраслевом рынке, а также обобщены возможные направления совершенствования многостороннего регулирования международной торговли ВВТ. Наш анализ проведен в рамках воздействия на мировой рынок сложных геополитических трендов, вызовов технологического прогресса и усложнения торгово-экономических отношений между странами.
