Cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan has a long history. A study of the relations between the two countries shows that their economic relations have not always been active. The research of the history of economic relations is important because it allows to study the trends at important historical stages of the two countries. Trade is the main direction of economic relations and one of the most important factors of strengthening of relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. The article examines the stages of development of economic relations from the years of independence to the present. On the basis of the studied statics, the growing dynamics of trade turnover between the two countries has been established. The research has confirmed that trade, economic and mutually beneficial relations have become stable, especially in the last five to six years, as a result of Uzbekistan's open and pragmatic foreign policy.
Сотрудничество между Республикой Узбекистан и Азербайджанской Республикой имеет многолетнюю историю. Исследование взаимоотношений двух стран показывает, что экономические связи между странами были не всегда активными. Изучение истории экономических отношений актуально, поскольку позволяет изучить тенденции на важных исторических этапах двух стран. Торговля является основным направлением экономических связей и является одной из важнейших факторов укрепления отношений между Узбекистаном и Азербайджаном. В статье рассматриваются этапы развития экономических отношений за годы независимости до настоящего времени. На основе изученных статических данных установлено растущая динамика товарооборота между двумя странами. Исследования подтвердило, что торгово-экономические и взаимовыгодные отношении стали приобретать стабильный характер особенно в последние пять-шесть лет, в результате открытой и прагматичной внешней политики Узбекистана.
